The Indonesian carrier makes its first international flight to the Lion City since relaunching in March.

Mandala Airlines adds another punch to its return to the Indonesian aviation scene when it celebrated its inaugural international flight from Medan to Singapore. This maiden flight is a milestone as it is the carrier’s first international flight since it announced its relaunch on March 27.

Mandala Airlines’ debut domestic route from Jakarta to Medan took flight on April 5 with 12 weekly flights. The airline’s expansion continues, linking the dynamic North Sumatra capital of Medan – the fourth largest city in Indonesia – to the island state of Singapore with 7 flights weekly. The direct service between Medan and Singapore offers travellers shuttling between Medan and Singapore greater convenience at affordable rates.

Mandala Airlines is committed to providing business and leisure travellers better connectivity on both domestic and international routes at attractive fares, so look out for upcoming announcements,” said Mandala Airlines’ President Director, Mike Coltman.
