SIAEC, Safran turn to AI to improve aircraft maintenance

They will collaborate to develop a predictive maintenance software for aviation.

SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) and Safran yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly develop a predictive maintenance software for aviation.

Under the MOU, Safran will help in developing and deploying software and services, while SIAEC will provide its expertise in engineering and maintenance, repair and overhaul.

Furthermore, the two groups hope the advanced predictive software will improve aircraft maintenance planning and reduce unscheduled disruptions to aircraft revenue service.
