SIA Engineering to babysit Singapore Airlines' new Airbus fleetFor six years it will be taking care of the maintenance, repair, and overhaul needs of SIA’s additional fifteen A330-300 aircraft. SIA Engineering Company Limited has signed a Tailored Support Package contract with Airbus to maintain the said fleet of Singapore Airlines. Under the contract, SIAEC will provide a wide range of MRO services, including transit and light maintenance checks, defect rectification, cabin maintenance, fleet management and heavy maintenance checks at SIAEC’s facilities in Singapore.
