SIA Engineering to babysit Singapore Airlines' new Airbus fleet

For six years it will be taking care of the maintenance, repair, and overhaul needs of SIA’s additional fifteen A330-300 aircraft.

SIA Engineering Company Limited has signed a Tailored Support Package contract with Airbus to maintain the said fleet of Singapore Airlines.

Under the contract, SIAEC will provide a wide range of MRO services, including transit and light maintenance checks, defect rectification, cabin maintenance, fleet management and heavy maintenance checks at SIAEC’s facilities in Singapore.

SIA will receive delivery of the A330-300 from 2013.
