SIA issues $700m notes due 2027

It will bear a 3.13% interest rate.

Singapore Airlines launched and priced $700m in aggregate principal amount of 3.13%. The notes due 2027 comprised in Series 006.

According to the group, DBS Bank Ltd., Standard Chartered Bank and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited are the joint lead managers.

The notes will be issued at an issue price of 100% of their principal amount and in denominations of $250,000.

"The notes will bear interest at a fixed rate of 3.13% per annum payable semiannually in arrear. The notes are expected to be issued on 23 August 2017, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions, and are expected to mature on 23 August 2027," SIA noted.

The proceeds from the issue of notes will be used by SIA r for general corporate and working capital purposes.
