He stepped down from his post at the age of 80.
Tiger Airways Holdings announced the retirement of Joseph Yuvaraj Pillay as chairman effective 31 July.
Mr Pillay, 80, also ceases to be chairman of Executive Committee and Risk Management Committee as well as a member of Nominating Committee and Remuneration Committee.
He was appointed to the post on 29 July 2011.
