CSC seals $178 million worth of contracts
One contract is for the foundation of three MRT stations.
It has been a good year so far for Singapore mainboard-listed foundation and geotechnical engineering specialist CSC Holdings Ltd. as contracts it has closed hit $178m.
According to the group, it has nabbed $178 million worth of contracts since the onset of its 2017 financial year in April.
The group announced that it was awarded foundation contracts for three MRT stations along the East Coast Stretch of Thomson-East Coast Line.
"CSC’s contract involves the construction of diaphragm walls, ground improvement works, bored piles, barrette piles and micropiles for the Amber Station, Bayshore Station and Sungei Bedok Station. Sungei Bedok Station will be an interchange, connecting the TEL with the Downtown Line," the group said.
These project is slated to commence towards the end of 2016.
Meanwhile, it has also been awarded contracts for land preparation works for airfields and related ancillary works in Changi East.
CSC will provide ground improvement and driven-pile services for the project.
The group also bagged an overseas project for a construction of foundations for the RAPID project in Malaysia.
Aside from the highlighted projects, CSC claims it also has contracts for residential, industrial, and transport infrastructure developments.
As of September, the group's order book stood at around $200 million.
