Koh Brothers Eco’s attributable profits skyrocket 392% to $2.1m in FY15
Thanks to strong contributions, increased gains, and lower costs.
Robust share results, climbing gains, and tapered expenses have propelled Koh Brothers Eco Engineering’s attributable income 392% to $2.1m in FY15.
According to the company’s media release, Koh Brothers Eco enjoyed a revenue uptick in its waster and waste-water treatment business segment that boosted the group’s revenue 1% to $44,8m in FY15.
Meanwhile, an increase in profit margin from the bio-refinery and bio-energy business division led to a 38% surge in overall gross profit to $7.7m in the financial year.
Koh Brothers Eco also benefitted from other gains of S$2.2m, and a pullback of finance expenses by 46% to $94,000. This was offset by selling and distribution expenses climbing by $1.1m.
“We are eyeing a slice of the S$18 billion to S$22 billion public sector project pie especially for our water and waste treatment business division as the majority of projects undertaken are usually from the public sector. We remain cautiously confident about our businesses,” concluded group chairman Francis Koh.
