Solicitors hound Sitra Holdings for $515,000 project claim

It believes the claims are baseless.

Catalist-listed Sitra Holdings informed the SGX that it has received a letter of demand from the solicitors demanding the payment of a sum of $515,000.00 previously paid to its subsidiary Sitra Dove Construction & Logistics and its partner E-Timberhub in relation to a construction project in Timor-Leste.

“E-Timberhub Pte Ltd has sought legal advice in respect of the Claimants’ alleged claim and considers the said claim to be without merit. E-Timberhub Pte Ltd intends to vigorously defend the Claimants’ alleged claim,” stated Sitra.
