Tee International secures another project in Changi Airport
It has secured a total of $48m new engineering contracts.
As part of expanding its involvement in the Development of Changi Airport, Singapore-listed engineering group Tee International Ltd. announced that it has nabbed another engineering project for the airport's three-runway system.
According to the group's announcement filed in Singapore Exchange, its subsidiary, Trans Equatorial Engineering Pte Ltd, will serve as a nominated sub-contractor to carry out the said engineering works.
"Trans will work with the project’s main contractor, a joint venture formed by Hock Lian Seng Infrastructure Pte. Ltd. and Sembcorp Design and Construction Pte. Ltd., on the Design, Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of the Airfield Lighting System for the three-runway system," the group stated.
Including this recent contract, TEE's engineering business has four ongoing projects with Changi Airport.
Meanwhile, it has also secured overseas engineering contracts. One of the contracts was awarded to TEE E&C Malaysia to develop a housing development for the Selangor State Development Corporation.
The group claimed that these freshly secured contracts bring its total unfulfilled order book to $372 million.
