HDB awards $98.7m contract to Chip Eng Seng


The work includes the construction of six blocks at Tampines Neighbourhood.

The Housing & Development Board (HDB) has awarded Chip Eng Seng’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Chip Eng Seng Contractors, a building works contract worth $98.7m, according to an announcement.

The contract relates to building works to be undertaken at Tampines Neighbourhood 8 Contract 31.

The works include the construction of six blocks, which will connect linkways, a multi-storey car park, precinct pavilions, as well as a roof garden and a childcare centre.

The construction period is said to be 30 months, which will commence in March 2020.
