IEV Holdings appoints Muniandy Thannimalai as Vice President of Operations

He has accumulated 30 years of experience in the oil and gas field.

The Board of IEV Holdings announced the appointment of Muniandy Thannimalai as Vice President of Operations effective Jan 5. The nominating committee has recommended, and the Board has approved, the appointment of Muniandy Thannimalai as Vice President of Operations based on his extensive experience and qualifications and other business competencies.

Muniandy Thannimalai will be responsible for overseeing all engineering, procurement and project management activities of the Group acting as Head of the Operations Department and a member of the Executive Committee.
He has 30 years of experience in the oil and gas field including up-stream and down-stream in various fields including design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and maintenance.

His down-stream experience includes involvement in design of petrochemical plants, and construction of tanks and marine facilities from grass root to completion including installation, erection, and start up pre-commissioning and commissioning of turbines, compressor, pumps, pipelines and all associated equipment, according to an IEV Holdings report.

His up-stream experience involved in design of jackets and topsides, supervision of site fabrication yard on jackets and topside including installation, hook up and commissioning of facilities. This also includes planning, coordinating and supervising the repair, maintenance and overhaul work of gas turbine, steam turbines, gas compressors and various types of pumps.
