On its inaugural year, the Made in Singapore and Designed in Singapore awards programme recognises trailblazing products manufactured in the city-state and products conceptualised in Singapore.

The REC TwinPeak 2 Series of REC Group won the Made in Singapore Awards under the energy & power category. This innovative half-cut cell solar panel was engineered to capture greater amount of light and deliver more power at lower costs compared to standard multicrystalline products. With world-record power outputs, the REC TwinPeak 2 panels are even competitive with monocrystalline products.
