This property startup aims to simplify the search for the perfect home

Greyloft maximises technology to help users make smarter decisions.

After a few years in banking, two students at the National University of Singapore decided to set up a technology company built around solving a challenging real estate problem. The brokering part of the transaction (after the initial online search) was still considered offline & both founders saw it as a challenge they could take on and simplify the home finding process for all stakeholders including customers & real estate agents.

Siddhesh Narayanan and Archit Agarwal then quit their jobs to start Greyloft. Greyloft is a full service, technology enabled property brokerage firm based in Singapore. It is a licensed real estate agency using technology to improve the real estate rental and sales process.

Greyloft combines online decision making tools with a team of in-house licensed property brokers to help consumers make smarter renting or buying decisions. Greyloft is redefining the real estate experience by integrating a suite of online tools and offline services to deliver a holistic customer centric solution.

"Given that Greyloft aims to simplify the home finding experience both online & offline, in addition to building tools that make online search & decision making easier for consumers, Greyloft is focussing on building tools that help both our customers & our in-house agents sail through the offline legs of the transaction including shortlisting, property viewings, contract signing & post move in support," Siddhesh Narayanan, co-founder of Greyloft said.

"As a real estate agency, online property search portals such as PropertyGuru & 99.co are complimentary to our business, just as they are to other licensed real estate agencies that operate in the market," he added.

Greyloft was part of JFDIs 2014A accelerate program. Since then, the company has gone on to raise a seed round. The round was led by Wavemaker Partners & DSG Consumer Partners & several prominent angel invesotrs.
