Real estate, rental, and leasing receipts jumped 5.8% in Q2

It has the highest growth among all service industries.

Business receipts of the services industries, excluding wholesale & retail trade and accommodation & food services grew by 2.8% in Q2, data released by the Department of Statistics revealed today.

 Real estate, rental & leasing services reported the highest growth of 5.8% in business receipts during the quarter, followed by health & social services with an increase of 1.6%.

Similarly, financial & insurance as well as transport & storage services recorded growth of 1.4% and 0.4% respectively in turnover. Business receipts from information & communications services were flat from the previous quarter.

On the other hand, education services registered a 16.5% drop in turnover during the quarter. Likewise, lower turnover were registered by recreation & personal services (-1.4%) and business services excluding real estate, rental & leasing services (-0.7%).
