CapitaMalls Asia appoints Jason Leow Juan Thong as CEO

He will replace Lim Beng Chee, who has decided to take a break after having worked for 15 years with the CapitaLand Group. 

CapitaMalls Asia announced the appointment of Jason Leow Juan Thong as chief executive officer effective 15 September 2014.

Mr Leow, 47, has been based in China for the last 13 years. He started his career with the CapitaLand Group in 1994. He was appointed CEO, CapitaLand China in 2009. He has since led the China teams in streamlining as well as growing the residential and integrated development businesses including the development and operations of the eight Raffles City projects in China, according to a CapitaLand report.

He is currently CEO of CapitaLand China Holdings since July 2009 until his appointment. Before this, he was deputy CEO of CapitaLand China Holdings from July 2005 to June 2009 and general manager, business development, CapitaLand Residential from July 2002 to June 2004.
