Chew Yen Keen quits as Viva Industrial Trust Management deputy CEO

He stepped down as deputy CEO and head of investments of the managers for personal reasons.

Viva Industrial Trust Management announced the resignation of Chew Yen Keen deputy chief executive officer and head of investments of the managers.

Mr Chew, 63, was responsible for identifying, researching and evaluating potential acquisitions and related investments with a view to enhancing the portfolio of Viva Industrial Trust (VIT), or divestments where a property is no longer strategic, fails to enhance the value of VIT portfolio or fails to be yield accretive, according to a Viva Industrial Trust Management report.

He also assisted the CEO in overseeing the strategic planning and the overall day-to-day management and operations of VIT.

He was appointed to the post on 4 November 2013.
