Former OCBC Wing Hang CEO Kng Hwee Tin moves to Capitaland

Kng will succeed chief financial officer of China Steve Gong.

Former OCBC Wing Hang Bank CEO Kng Hwee Tin will join CapitaLand as the CEO, Finance & Corporate Services in China, starting 01 October, according to a spokesperson from Capitaland.

This is said to be a newly created position, succeeding the retired chief financial officer of China, Steve Gong.

She will be based in Shanghai and report to group CFO Andrew Lim and president for China Lucas Loh.

Kng will be overseeing the finance, treasury, corporate finance & tax, communications, general procurement, and legal functions for the China business. She will also be a member of CapitaLand Executive Committee.

She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from National University of Singapore. Kng also completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania as well as the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
