GuocoLand names Teo Tong Kooi as Group Managing Director
He will take charge of GuocoLand Group's China operations and the overall management of GuocoLand Group's subsidiaries in China.
The Board of GuocoLand announced tha appointment of Teo Tong Kooi as Group Managing Director. Mr Teo will be apppointed as the Group Managing Director, GLC and Legal Representative of GLC and GuocoLand Group's subsidiaries in China with effect from 1 July 2012. Mr Teo possesses a broad range of industry experience in multinationals and conglomerates. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management and Masters in Business Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, USA and had attended the Stanford Executive Programme from Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, California, USA.
Mr. Teo, 54, will be appointed as the Group Managing Director, GLC and Legal Representative of GLC and GuocoLand Group's subsidiaries in China, responsible for GuocoLand Group's China operations and the overall management of GuocoLand Group's subsidiaries in China, according a GuocoLand report.
In the past, he was Chief Executive Officer (China Operations), WCT Bhd, Malaysia from 2011 to 2012. Before this he was Chief Executive Officer/Director, Hong Leong Asia Ltd, Singapore from 2004 to 2010 and Managing Director, Tasek Corporation Bhd, Malaysia from 2003 to 2004.
