Singapore's central bank Chief Ravi Menon announced early this year that labout shortage was the country's biggest challenge for economic growth. Keppel Corporation may have to continue to cut a portions of its workforce as it faces declining profits. It has already slashed 26% of its workforce at its offshore and marine business in the nine months through September. In 3Q16, Keppel saw its earnings drop 38% on weak oil. Read more here.
