CITIC Envirotech scores waste treatment project for $65.2m

It will also invest $53.9m for the construction of the facility.

Environmental solutions firm CITIC Envirotech (CITIC) secured a hazardous waste treatment project in China’s Binzhou City for a total investment of $65.2m (CNY315m).

According to KGI, CITIC will acquire the entire 100% shareholding of Shandong Yunshui Jili Environment Protection Co.

It owns the licenses and land required for a hazardous waste treatment facility in Binzhou City, for $11.4m (CNY55m).

CITIC will also invest $53.9m (CNY260m) for the construction and the completion of the facility.
