PEC bags S$70mn projects

The Group’s latest wins strengthen its position in the process industry.

PEC Ltd. (PEC), which provides engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) and plant maintenance solutions to the oil & gas, petrochemical, terminal and pharmaceutical industry, would like to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Audex Pte Ltd (Audex), has been awarded a contract by an independent tank storage provider to provide design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of storage and pipeline facilities in Singapore.

This contract together with other contracts secured recently added close to S$70 million worth of projects to its growing orderbook, according to a PEC report.

Commenting on the recent wins, Mr Robert Dompeling, Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “These projects from existing clients demonstrate their confidence in our ability to deliver consistent quality work in a timely and efficient manner. We will continue to build on our track record to strengthen our position in the process industry.

We remain cautiously optimistic as the growing affluence of consumers in Asia will continue to drive demand for fuel-related products, and hence also the need for more tank storage facilities. The Group is well positioned to take advantage of new opportunities and build on our order book and client base in Asia and the Middle East.”
