Sunpower nabs $4.61m EPC deal with CSCLC

It will be provided to a Mongolia coal liquefaction project.

Sunpower Group Ltd. (Sunpower) has clinched a RMB22.58m ($4.61m) deal through its subsidiary Jiangsu Sunpower Technology Co., Ltd (Sunpower Technology) to provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services to China Shenhua Coal to Liquid and Chemical Co., Ltd. (CSCLC).

According to the company’s media release, the EPC services will be provided to the E1 concentrated liquid crystallisation project of CSCLC’s coal liquefaction project located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia.

“The EPC project will be completed in 2017 which will have a positive impact on the Group’s FY2017 results. Save for their respective shareholdings in the Group, none of the directors or controlling shareholders of the Group has any interest, direct or indirect, in the contract,” Sunpower stated.
