Singaporeans to receive refund for 2011 RTV license fees
Some 1.1 million cheques will be mailed in batches to households, non-residential TV licensees, vehicle owners and dealers.
According to the Media Development Authority of Singapore, the final batch of cheques is expected to be sent by 30 April 2011.
Licensees are advised to bank the cheques into their accounts within six months. Licensees who do not hold a bank account can produce their NRIC/ FIN/ Passport at any United Overseas Bank branch to encash the cheque.
