Lombard Odier appoints Vincent Magnenat as the new Singapore-based CEO

And Richard Wee is now Vice Chairman of Board.

According to a release, Vincent Magnenat has succeeded Richard Wee as CEO of Lombard Odier Singapore with effect from 3 December 2012. Mr Wee, an existing member of the Lombard Odier Singapore Board, has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Board to oversee regional strategy.

Newly-appointed Singapore CEO Mr Magnenat reports to Mr Vincent Duhamel, Head of Asia for Lombard Odier. As Singapore CEO, Mr Magnenat oversees the growth of both the private banking and the asset management businesses in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Mr Magnenat joins Lombard Odier from Societe Generale, where he was most recently Regional Head of Sales and Marketing for Asia, based in Hong Kong and previously, in Singapore.

Lombard Odier has been in Asia for over 25 years, with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
