United Overseas Bank appoints Ong Yew Huat as Non-executive Director

He has worked in Ernst & Young Singapore for 29 years.

The Board of United Overseas Bank announced the appointment Ong Yew Huat as Non-executive Director.

Mr. Ong, 57, has been in Ernst & Young Singapore from 1983 until 31 December 2012 where he worked as Executive Chairman, Singapore (2011 – 2012); Asia Pacific Chief Operating Officer (2010 to 2011); Far East Area Chief Operating Officer (2009 – 2010); Member of the Far East Executive Committee (2008 – 2009); Country Managing Partner of EY Singapore (2005 – 2008); and Head of Transaction Advisory Services of Far East Area (Up to 2005), according to a United Overseas Bank report.
