Mundipharma opens new regional office at Asia Square
See why it chose Singapore.
Mundipharma announced the significant expansion of its Regional Office in Singapore and the opening of Mundipharma’s new cutting-edge offices at Asia Square, which will house the company’s 70 employees and growing.
The establishment of the Regional Office in Singapore comes as part of Mundipharma’s plan to build out a patient-centric presence throughout key markets in need such as Asia, Latin America, Middle East and North Africa. Mundipharma currently distributes its products worldwide across more than 100 countries and is looking to expand its product pipeline further in the various regions.
The modern deco offices are indicative of the “new face of pharma”, complete with bean bag chillout zone and an all-access tea-room offering up a wide variety of international designer teas for staff meetings while brainstorming ideas.
“Singapore is an excellent hub for Mundipharma to base its operations. It gives us the combination of easy access with strong reach to support our goal of improving the quality of lives of patients throughout the region and beyond,” said Raman Singh, Regional Managing Director for Mundipharma Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and North Africa.
“Singapore is fast-growing in the global export of pharmaceutical goods, so this coupled with its strong infrastructure also make it best-placed to attract top-in-class talent, which is essential for Mundipharma as we continue to develop in our role as a dynamic pharmaceutical company on the global stage.”
“We warmly welcome Mundipharma decision to establish its regional Office here in Singapore,” said Mr Kevin Lai, Director, Biomedical Sciences, EDB. “Mundipharma’s decision affirms and reflects Singapore’s growing status as a leading hub for pharmaceuticals companies looking to drive and grow their businesses in the emerging markets and Asia. We are excited to see the growth, innovation, and good jobs that Mundipharma will bring to Singapore’s pharmaceutical sector and would like to congratulate Mundipharma on this significant milestone.”
