This increase of $2.7 million was attributed to higher revenue from existing dental and medical clinics amounting to $1.7 million, as well as contributions from new dental and medical outlets in Singapore and Malaysia amounting to $1 million.
Revenue from Q & M’s dental equipment and supplies distribution business also rose to$1.9 million in 2Q14 from $0.2 million in 2Q13. This increase was mainly due to the Group’s acquisition of a Malaysia-based dental equipment and supplies distribution company, AR Dental Supplies in July 2013.
