Tay-Tan Bee Kiew resigned as Cordlife Group's independent director

She wishes to devote more time to her other commitments.

Mrs. Tay, 64, has more than 40 years of experience in the areas of accounting, auditing, taxation, public listing, due diligence, mergers and acquisition and business advisory.

She is independent non-executive chairman for Singapore Kitchen Equipment and on the Board of Directors at Jason Marine Group. She was previously chief financial officer for Sunningdale Tech, independent director for Spice i2i, a partner at KPMG (Singapore), assistant auditor for Turquand Youngs & Co., and independent director for MediaRing.

She is a fellow with the Institue of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK, Australia CPA and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). She is a licentiate of Trinity College (London). She holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Singapore in 1974.
