Hotel room revenues dip 1.3% in Q1

STB noted that revenues came in at around $0.8b.

Despite the uptick in tourism receipts, hotel room revenue in Singapore during the first quarter of the year dipped slightly by 1.3% to $0.8b.

According to Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the average occupancy rate came in at 86%, an increase of 1.3ppt last year. 

Meanwhile, the average room rate declined by 2.8% to $223. This brings the overall RevPAR to dip 1.2% to $199.
