According to Janus Corporate Solutions, Singapore continued to be a popular choice for business incorporation among both local and foreign entrepreneurs and firms. the British Virgin Islands, China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, United Kingdom, United States, Cayman Islands, Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia, were among the top jurisdictions where Singapore company registrations originated during Q2 2012.
Compared to Q1 data, most of the numbers remained similar, with the exception being a 2% decrease in the number of registrations from USA corporate shareholders which may be attributed to the US economy’s continued difficulty making a substantial recovery from its recession, said Janus.
This signals chemical firm Eastman’s commitment to its Asian clients.
