ST Electronics launches Cyber Security Center in Jurong East

Advanced attacks demand high-end training.

ST Electronics today announced the official opening of its DigiSAFE Cyber Security Centre at the Devan Nair Institute for Employment and Employability in Jurong East.

The centre is designed to equip cyber security professionals in the detection and prevention of cyber-attacks. It can also cater to info-comm professionals who are looking to enter or crossover to the field of cyber security operations.

ST Electronics has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nanyang Polytechnic to mark a joint collaboration in the development of cyber security certification and capabilities in Singapore.

The MOU is expected to enhance Singapore’s cyber security competency level and bridge the increasing needs for better equipped cyber security professionals.
