IBM appoints new general manager for ASEAN

Martin Chee has succeeded Patricia Yim, who will be IBM APAC’s new technology leader.

New York-headquartered technology and consulting company IBM has appointed Martin Chee as the new general manager for IBM ASEAN, effective from 1 January 2021.

Chee has succeeded former general manager Patricia Yim, who will go on to be IBM Asia Pacific’s technology leader. Chee will be based at IBM ASEAN’s headquarters in Singapore.

Aside from being IBM’s general manager for ASEAN, Chee will also resume his current role as the general manager for Singapore.

“His new portfolio includes strengthening IBM’s presence and collaboration with clients and partners through the adoption of open hybrid cloud and AI,” a statement read.
