Advance SCT appoints Zhang Baoan as director

The board believes that he being an ultra high net worth individual with substantial investments in China, Singapore and Europe will be a valuable asset for the company.

Advance SCT announced the appointment of Zhang Baoan as non-executive director.

Mr Zhang, 51, will also be a member of the Nominating Committee.

He has successfully developed several landmark properties in Shanghai and Anhui province as well as in Germany, where he still owns an office and residential complex in Frankfurt. He currently co-owns a deep-mining equipment business in Germany in partnership with Siemens and a 700 MW power plant in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui province, jointly with Beijing-based and Hefei-based state-owned enterprises. Mr Zhang had acquired the power plant from Singapore Power and United Engineers a few years ago.
