Unionmet (Singapore) names Zeng Fuzu as Executive Chairman

He was the Company's co-founder and held the position as Non-Executive Chairman.

The Board of Unionmet appoints Zeng Fuzu as Executive Chairman. As part of leadership renewal process, the Nominating Committee ("NC") has proposed to the Board that Mr Zeng, the current Non-Executive Chairman, be re-designated as Executive Chairman of the Company. Based on the NC's recommendation, the Board approved the re-designation of Mr Zeng as an Executive Chairman of the Company.

Mr Zeng will oversee the Group's operations and business development, including formulating and executing business strategies.

Mr Zeng was the Managing Director of Raffemet Pte Ltd from November 1999 to August 2006.

Mr Zeng was the co-founder of the Company and was appointed to the Board on 21 July 2004. He held the position as Co-Chairman/Non-Executive Director from July 2004 to October 2009. Since October 2009, Mr Zeng held the position as Non-Executive Chairman of the Company.
