Perx to target enhanced customer engagement for merchants, enterprises

It transformed from just a loyalty app to an end-to-end customer engagement platform.

With a new focus on personalisation and predictive analytics, mobile customer engagement platform Perx enables companies to improve their mobile strategies through customer engagement, self-service, and automation. It focuses on businesses that are working towards digital transformation to engage and retain their customers.

Perx mobile app currently holds 400,000 registered users, five million monthly application impressions and more than 200 partnership merchants in Singapore.

The overhaul of the platform enables not only the large enterprises to digitalize but also the small and medium ones. Developers and providers can manage their end-to-end customer engagement processes from marketing data to user experience. Furthermore, traditional businesses in banking, insurance, mobile/telco, government and various high tech services are also reached by Perx through digital technologies.

Perx was originally founded by Andrew Roth and Jon Sugihara in late 2011 and has been re-established last year by Anna Gong with a new vision and strategy for the company. It has raised S$6m since its inception from friends, family, and investors including Golden Gate Ventures and Eduardo Saverin, co-founder of Facebook.

According to Anna Gong, CEO of Perx, the new team spent endless hours to re-engineer and re-develop a newly architected platform which can benefit an even wider market than they currently cater to. They then decided to lead Perx from just a loyalty app to an end-to-end customer engagement CRM platform.

Defining new paradigms when it comes to customer engagement, Perx turns all the real time intelligent analytics to actionable insights so it can help enterprises solve and improve their customer lifecycle management challenges.

“Perx is redefining the way mobile marketing and loyalty platforms work and leading the future of customer engagement analytics. Our aim is to become the one-stop solution for end-to- end marketing needs of merchants, app developers as well as enterprises. At the same time, we are focusing on expanding our footprints across Asia Pacific,” said Gong.

On September 2016, Perx partnered with Australian customer engagement startup, Complex Interactions and also hired N. Vijayan to be its regional sales director in Malaysia.
