Singapore Exchange promotes Yeo Lian Sim as chief regulatory officer

She was was previously the chief regulatory and risk officer before stepping down from full time employment with SGX in order to facilitate a smooth transition to her appointed post.

Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced the appointment of Yeo Lian Sim as chief regulatory officer effective 1 March 2015.

Ms Yeo, 65, will managing the regulatory activities of SGX and ensuring that regulatory duties are discharged in accordance with SGX's statutory mandate to operate a fair, orderly and transparent market, according to an SGX report.

She was special adviser to SGX from January 2014 until her appointment to the post. Before this, she was chief regulatory and risk officer from June 2004 to December 2013.
