Vicom appoints Yang Ban Seng as deputy chairman

He was also the GCEO of ComfortDelGro.

ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited, the parent company of VICOM Ltd, has nominated Mr Yang Ban Seng as its nominee to VICOM's Board in place of Mr Kua Hong Pak as a director with effect from 1 May 2017 as Mr Yang will take over Mr Kua as managing director/group chief executive officer of ComfortDelGro.

The Board of VICOM has approved the Nominating Committee's recommendation to appoint Mr Yang as a director and the recommendation of chairman of VICOM's Board to appoint Mr Yang as Deputy Chairman in place of Mr Kua, having considered Mr Yang's qualifications and working experience and his position as ComfortDelGro's MD/GCEO.

He previously worked as CEO of ComfortDelGro Taxi Business and a director of subsidiaries of the group.
