Learn what makes it a super hot new launched private home.

Singapore Business Review’s spot check with property agents at Knight Frank found that the75-unit freehold non-landed property was already 90% sold when launched on June 9.

An industry observer notes that the fast take up was not surprising as the property offered right pricing plus it has good location at District 9.

District 9 is a prime location, commonly dubbed as the Singapore’s Arts and Cultural District. According to property agents, 1919 offers great convenience to residence as it would only take a short walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT and Plaza Singapura.

Other attractions:
- A superb location that offers residents quick access to Central Business District, Orchard Shopping Belt and Marina Integrated Resort.
- Good rental yield potential with the educational hub SMU, SOTA, Laselle, St MArgarets Primary and the National Library.
- Near to an array of restaurants and cafes
- Attractive to nature lovers as it is close to Mt Emily Park, Istana Park, Bras Bash Park and Fort Canning Park

Price list meanwhile are as follows:

The property’s developer is Aurum Land Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Woh Hup Holdings Pte Ltd.

Another industry observer meanwhile commended the architectural design of 1919 which he said is ‘rare’ in this modern age.

1919 has a vintage ambience portraying a colonial architectural style. Buyers, he said are attracted with the bamboo blinds, timber materials and ceiling fans.

He wonders however whether the development will insist that all curtains will have to be either black and white.
