Shoebox condo prices down 0.6% in October

While overall condo prices rose.

Prices of completed shoebox units--those with floor area smaller than 506 square feet--dropped 0.6% month-on-month in October, according to the latest Singapore Residential Price Index by the National University of Singapore.

Prices of shoebox flats also dropped 0.7% in September.

The overall SRPI gained 0.1% in October, boosted by a 0.3% increase in prices of completed flats in central areas.

Meanwhile, prices of condos in non-central regions was flat month-on-month.

The Central region sub-basket comprises properties within the overall SRPI basket located in Postal Districts 1 through 4 and 9 through 11 while properties in the other postal districts are in the non-Central region sub-basket.
