Air Boutique in Park Mall undergoes a makeover

Air Boutique in Park Mall undergoes a makeover

The newly renovated store includes the 2011 Furniture Design Award Grand Prize recipient, Wind Screen/Shelf, from its Plank Living 2011/2012 solid wood collection.

The AIR BOUTIQUE located at Park Mall has been one of Air’s mainstays for the last seven years. It provides a quaint but distinctively Air ambience that has seen many customers passing its doors and coming back for more.

In keeping with the times, the AIR BOUTIQUE recently underwent a makeover. This facelift is timely as it is in tune with the current collection.

The simple yet elegant concept for AIR BOUTIQUE was meticulously planned by the company’s designers themselves. Understated elegance was the key concept behind the boutique’s new retail look.

To achieve the look, the raw ceiling was left uncovered while a light color was used to wash out the otherwise complicated silhouette of ceiling. The wooden flooring was also removed in favor of a simple cement screed flooring. Clever wall partitions and installations were fitted into the boutique’s walls to help manage consultants to serve their customers better administrative paperwork and filing, thus allowing the consultants to serve their customers better.

For the final touch, the designers then filled the spartan looking interior with their very own designs that ranged from coffee tables, chairs and other whimsical pieces of finely crafted furniture from their new Plank Living 2011/2012 solid wood collection to it own private label, Air.

A highlight in the newly renovated store includes the 2011 Furniture Design Award Grand Prize recipient, Wind Screen/Shelf, from its Plank Living 2011/2012 solid wood collection. Also expect colourful Japanese inspired side tables, birch chairs with stripped down oriental influence and odd-legged stools, now available for viewing at the boutique.

Existing firm favorites from the three house brands AIR, Plank Living and Royce are on display as well. The arrangement of these pieces will allow both new and existing customers to see how Air’s varied array of furniture can be arranged to create an exclusive ‘air’ to any interior.
