Sun East appoints Ye Jianming as Executive Chairman

The post gave Mr. Ye the responsibility to supervise the strategic directions and growth of the group and its subsidiaries.

The Board of Sun East Group announced the appointment of Ye Jianming as Executive Chairman. In line with the Code of Corporate Governance 2005, Mr Ye was nominated and assessed by the Nominating Committee. On the recommendation of the Nominating Committee, the Board approved of Mr Ye's appointment as Executive Chairman based on his qualifications and experience.

Mr Ye shall be responsible for overseeing the strategic directions and growth of Sun East Group Limited and its subsidiaries, according to a Sun East Group report.

In 2011, he founded and became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Singapore Petrol Development Pte Ltd, He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors of CEFC from 2009 to 2010. He also assumed Chairman of the Board role of Shanghai Huaxin Petrol Co.Ltd in 2008.
