Uni-Asia Holdings appoints Michio Tanamoto as executive chairman and CEO

He will replace Kazuhiko Yoshida who has decided to retire after his service cintract with the company expired.

Uni-Asia Holdings announced the appointment of Michio Tanamoto as executive chairman and chief executive officer effective 30 April 2014.

Mr Tanamoto, 57, is one of the founders of the Company and his appointment is part of the company's succession plan. He will be responsible for overall management of Uni-Asia Holdings.

He is the executive director and COO of the company stationed in Singapore and one of the founders who established the Company in 1997. He was responsible for the Company's business development, corporate strategy, finance and investor relations, according to a Uni-Asia Holdings report.
