Singtel, Globe launch cybersecurity services in the Philippines
The move complements the Philippine government’s national cyber security plan.
Singtel and Globe Telecom have launched Trustwave Managed Security Services to help Philippine enterprises protect against cyber attacks. The new services are delivered through Globe’s Advanced Security Operations Centre (ASOC) in Manila, which is operated by Trustwave, Singtel’s managed security services subsidiary.
Under the strategic partnership, Singtel and Globe have formed an ecosystem with global cyber security providers including Trustwave, Palo Alto Networks, FireEye, and Arbor to deliver managed security services through the Globe ASOC. These managed security services include vulnerability assessment, network security, application security and content security, endpoint security, and access control and security management.
“The launch of Trustwave Managed Security Services is timely as it complements the Philippine government’s National Cybersecurity Plan 2022,” said Bill Change, chief executive officer, Group Enterprise at Singtel and chairman of Trustwave.
