ST Electronics ties up with Motorola to co-create communication security solutions

With its increasing investments in cyber technologies, it’s almost necessary for ST Electronics to invest heavily in cybersecurity.
As a result, the firm has collaborated with Motorola Solutions to co-create innovative technologies for advanced secured communications in public safety, national security and enterprise sectors.
According to a press release by ST Electronics, the signed memorandum of understanding’s focus is to help government and enterprise organisations reach new levels of security and productivity through smarter and more secure technologies.
“This can range from increasing situational awareness and efficiency among first responders in the field to providing essential information to enable enterprises to make speedy and accurate business-critical decision,” the press release said.
Meanwhile, the collaboration will also accelerate the development of specialised technologies for high security mission-critical broadband, cyber-security solutions and purpose-built applications.
“With shared global expertise and business dynamism, this partnership will create new technological frontiers with innovative solutions for the government and private sectors in the realms of cyber security and public safety,” said Lee Fook Sun, ST Electronics president.
