Singtel acquires tech platform provider

Its subsidiary now offers marketers a data management platform.

Telco giant Singtel announced the completion of its acquisition of Turn, which provides a global technology platform for marketers and agencies.

The acquisition was made by its digital marketing technology subsidiary Amobee.

To recall, Amobee signed an agreement in February to acquire Turn for an enterprise value of US310m.

Amobee CEO Kim Perell said the Amobee-Turn combination addresses the rapidly changing digital marketing landscape.

"Together, we will bring marketers the most innovative, efficient, and data-driven approach to better understand and reach their customers, and enhance the way they engage them on a global scale,” she said.
