StarHub issues $200m perpetual securities
It is under the $2b multicurrency debt issuance programme.
StarHub has issued $200m in aggregate principal amount of 3.95% subordinated perpetual securities following its announcement of kickstarting a $2b Multicurrency Debt Issuance Programme earlier this month.
It has received approval-in-principle from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited for permission to deal in and for the listing and quotation of, the Perpetual Securities on the Official List of the SGX-ST.
To recall, the telco player amassed $300m through its medium-term note (MTN) programme. Proceeds from the notes issuance were used in its bid for the general spectrum auction that was completed in April.
