Starhub to roll out contract-free sim only plans
Their $50 sim only plan includes a data bundle with 40GB.
Starhub is amping up its game in the telco wars as it will launch three new sim only plans which are contract-free, with the lowest plan at $25.
The telco thinks that its mid-tier plan which costs $50 will be the most attractive option as it will include a data bundle of 30 GB and a launch bonus of 10 GB. Meanwhile, the highest offer is at $80.
The newly launched plans will not bind customers to any minimum subscription period, Starhub explained. Moreover, Caller Number Display (Caller ID) as well as international roaming will also be free-of-charge for customers of said plans which can help them save up to $15.35 per month.

In what it claims to be a first move in the industry, Starhub revealed that it will also scrap all one-time administrative, activation, and SIM card fees, which add up to about $200 over 12 months for a typical customer.
As part of its promotion, Starhub said that the first 10,000 customers who will avail the plan will get an additional 10GB for every month of subscription.
“Customers who want to get a discounted phone can simply top up $25 per month. These customers will get the same 10GB bonus for the full 24-month term,” they explained.
The plan will be available at Starhub’s website from 9 am of 6 December as well as in any Starhub shop.
