Keppel Telecommunications and Transportation's Director resigns

Reggie Thein opted not to pursue reelection as board member.

The Board of Keppel Telecommunications and Transportation announced that Reggie Thein as Director. Mr Reggie Thein ceased to be a director pursuant to Section 153(6) of the Companies Act, Cap. 50 at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on 18 April 2012 and although eligible, did not seek for re-election. Mr Thein will concurrently cease to be Chairman of the Audit Committee and a Member of the Board Risk Committee.

Aside from being a non-executive Independent Director, Mr Thein, 71, is also a Chairman of Audit Committee and Member of Board Risk Committee, according to a Keppel report.

Mr. Thein was appointed to the post June 26, 2003.
