Nera Telecommunications named Beck Tong Hong as acting CEO

The previous CEO retired.

Mr. Beck, 44, is responsible for the overall management of the group. Ang Seong Kang, the previous CEO, will facilitate the transition until April 23, 2018.

Mr. Beck was vice president of Network Infrastructure for the Group since September 2013 until October 2016. He was vice president of Product Management for PT Smartfren Tbk/Excite Indonesia from 2011 to 2013. He was deputy director for Singapore Telecommunications from 2006 to 2011. He was program manager for Defense Science Technology Agency from 1999 to 2006.

He got a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from École supérieure d'ingénieurs en génie électrique (ESIGELEC) and Master’s Degree in Engineering in Optoelectronics from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rouen both in 1997. He got his Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from Singapore Institute of Management in 2004.
