StarHub appoints Dennis Chia Choon Hwee as CFO

He was senior vice president and CFO of STATS ChiPAC Worldwide.

StarHub announced the appointment of Dennis Chia Choon Hwee as chief financial officer.

Mr Chia, 46, is expected to contribute to the best practices of StarHub relating to financial planning, corporate governance, among others. He will also help develop key strategies together with the core leadership team of StarHub, and ensure that business decisions are financially sound and strategies are executed through financial management.

Prior to his appointment, he was senior vice president and CFO of STATS ChiPAC Worldwide. Before this, he was vice president of finance, Asia Pacific operations in Lear Corp. He also led Frontline Technologies Corp and Behringer Corp to successful listings on the Singapore Exchange, according to a StarHub report.
